“White Construction Company (WCC) chose Tom Green & Company Engineers, Inc. (TGCE) to manage the pre-commissioning process of the Brazos Electric Cooperative New Headquarters Building in Waco, Texas. Their challenge was to essentially make a first pass at the entire commissioning effort and make the Owner’s commissioning essentially a formality. Shortly into the pre-commissioning, WCC lost our MEP manager who was the liaison for TGCE. We asked the TGCE staff if they were willing to take on more responsibility and effectively be our champion, and they said yes. Led by Greg Maxwell, the TGCE team diligently and thoroughly churned through the process and worked with sometimes reluctant subcontractors to address every piece of equipment and gather every required document for the Owner’s commissioning agent.
