“White Construction Company (WCC) chose Tom Green & Company Engineers, Inc. (TGCE) to manage the pre-commissioning process of the Brazos Electric Cooperative New Headquarters Building in Waco, Texas. Their challenge was to essentially make a first pass at the entire commissioning effort and make the Owner’s commissioning essentially a formality. Shortly into the pre-commissioning, WCC lost our MEP manager who was the liaison for TGCE. We asked the TGCE staff if they were willing to take on more responsibility and effectively be our champion, and they said yes. Led by Greg Maxwell, the TGCE team diligently and thoroughly churned through the process and worked with sometimes reluctant subcontractors to address every piece of equipment and gather every required document for the Owner’s commissioning agent. When the Owner’s agent started their review, the team was complimented for the level of readiness and the final commissioning process revealed mostly items that TGCE had already identified or ones were solely design related. We got exactly the results we wanted. TGCE gave us what we asked for on this job and more…they stepped forward in our moment of need and helped bring the project to a successful completion. I cannot thank TGCE and his staff enough for their efforts.”

“I’d like to begin by letting you know that the BIM process for this project had a very aggressive schedule from the beginning and on top of that had many challenges to overcome.  From the very beginning [TGCE] was extremely professional and forth coming with suggestions for very pertinent approaches to achieving our schedule deadlines.”

“The Electric Distribution Documentation [project] has been an invaluable aid to CMC in reducing labor cost associated to finding feeder, branch circuits and panel-boards. No more wondering where the master switch is, what amperage, voltage or wire size.  It is all there for the viewing.  Paid for itself in less than one year.”

Tommy Pullin, Director of Engineering

Citizens Medical Center

“Over the years we have counted on your firm’s engineers to design our electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems for the many projects we have completed at our hospital. Your on site analysis in preparation for the work eliminated many of the problems that we have had with other design build firms.  Your engineers are very professional and approachable; they answer all our questions immediately if possible.  This positive attitude takes out a lot of stress from the process and builds confidence that the project will be a success.  It has been a great pleasure to work with you and your staff and I recommend your firm to my fellow facility managers in the Valley.

Thank you for being there for us.”
